Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool supporters have received positive news with the return of key players Mo Salah and Dominik Szoboszlai from injuries, just in time for their Europa League Round of 16 match against Sparta Prague.
Salah’s comeback is particularly timely, not only for the European competition but also for the Premier League title chase.
Szoboszlai also made his return in a recent league match, bolstering the squad as they begin their knockout stage journey in the Europa League, aiming for a strong finish in both competitions.
Last Wednesday in a pre-match conference, Jurgen Klopp discussed the availability of both Salah and Szoboszlai. He said:
“It is good that he is back, He loves playing football. Being injured is for him tough, tough, tough.”
“It was not an injury where it was painful every day or whatever. He was just not allowed to train properly, how it is with muscle injuries.”
Jurgen Klopp added:
“So, that’s the reason why we had to be careful in his rehab, because if you would have asked Dom, he could have trained completely with the team for two or three weeks. But all the medical advice told us no, we have to wait. And that’s what we did.”
“Now he is back, played a few minutes, is in the squad. All the rest, we will see.”
Salah and Szoboszlai can help the team push through in the end part of the season in both Premier League and Europa Premier League.
However, this will require intense efforts from every member of the team, and they must be sworn to give their best.
